BOYERTOWN — It was thrown back into the fire. After a nearly two-week layoff, Boyertown's American Legion baseball team faced off against one of the perennially top teams in the state Tuesday night. The Bears showed some rust, with a lack of hitting and a failure to execute bunts when they did manage one or two of their infrequent runners.
